Volunteer for Belle of the Ball!

For a 2nd year, Young Professionals of Racine is supporting the Belle of the Ball as part of their engagement opportunities to give back to the Racine community.

Belle of the Ball was founded in 2006 to help girls who cannot afford prom dresses make their dreams come true. Each year a boutique is set up for local high schoolers to go shopping. They are assigned a personal shopper to assist them in choosing the prom dress of their dreams. ALL FOR FREE!

Volunteers are need for SET UP on March 28th and TAKE DOWN on March 30th.

Location: RECON – Warehouse, 212 4th St., Racine, WI

Boutique Days:

• March 29, 2025, Saturday (9 am – 4 pm)
• March 30, 2025, Sunday (11 am – 3 pm)

 Setup Date: March 28, 2025, Friday (8:30 am – Finish)

• Tasks:
  • Get dress boxes from storage.
  • Unbox and arrange dresses by size.
  • Set up dress racks.
  • Set up fitting rooms.
  • Set up the check-in area.
  • Set up backdrops for photos.
• Volunteers: 10-15 people needed, broken down into time slots or all-day shifts.

 
Take Down: March 30, 2025, Sunday (3 pm – 6 pm)

• Volunteers: Approximately 8 people needed.

Prom Dress Donations: Donations can be dropped off at Express Employment Professionals located at 1300 S Green Bay Rd #200, Racine, WI 53406.
 
Swag Bag Donations: Goody Bags given to Belle of the Ball attendees - Deodorant, makeup wipes, water bottles/tags, gum, soap/body wash, shaving cream, and razors.
