Director of Finance and Operations

21st Century Preparatory School, a K4-8 2R independent charter school located in Racine, WI, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Director of Finance and Operations to join our leadership team. As an integral member of the leadership team, the Director of Finance and Operations reports directly to the Executive Director and will work closely with the administration and stakeholders to create a supportive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field
- At least 3 years proven experience in financial management, preferably within an educational setting
- Familiarity with or the desire to learn the Wisconsin Uniform Financial Accounting Requirements and Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB)
- Strong understanding of business operations and practices
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse staff and outside vendors
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Effective leadership and the ability to think strategically
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required
- Experience with Skyward Financial preferred but not required
