YPR: Let's Taco 'Bout It
Facilitated by Young Professionals of Racine, this lunch and learn session is an opportunity for young professionals to talk about relevant issues that matter to Racine. Topics may range from hearing from local government officials to transportation issues to protecting our lakefront or learning about the arts. The goal is to educate Racine's YPs and network around a quick meal.
PLEASE NOTE: The intended audience are "younger" professionals from local companies. Although no one will be turned away, space is limited. Encourage your emerging young leaders to attend.
Our guest for September is Diane Carlson, Executive Director of the Racine Arts Council. Diane's presentation will highlight the many ways the arts are thriving in Racine County—and how young professionals can connect with and support this vital part of our community.
Racine Arts Council will share:
- An overview of the Racine Arts Council’s mission and services
- Exciting programs like ArtSeed grants, the Creativity in Bloom Showcase, and LINK: Lonely Instruments Need Kinds
- A look at Racine’s creative community, which has a national ranking in the Top 12% of counties nationally for arts vibrancy.
