YPR: Let's Taco 'Bout It
It's Taco Tuesday! This lunch and learn session, facilitated by Young Professionals of Racine, is an opportunity for young professionals to talk about relevant issues that matter to Racine. Topics may range from hearing from local government officials to transportation issues to protecting our lakefront or learning about the arts. The goal is to educate Racine's YPs and network around a quick meal.
PLEASE NOTE: The intended audience are "younger" professionals from local companies. Although no one will be turned away, space is limited. Encourage your emerging young leaders to attend.
Our guest for Dec 2nd is Trevor Jung, Director of RYDE Racine, Racine's public transit system. Trevor will share his story about navigating being "young" as a community and civic leader. He was Racine's youngest elected alderperson since 1862, holding that seat for Racine's 9th district from 2019 to 2021. He is now running for the State Senate seat for District 21.
This will be a dynamic conversation with Trevor who is a Racine ambassador and a hometown booster.
