Nonprofit Draft Day
The Racine County community is invited to the 4th annual Nonprofit Draft Day!
Purpose:
To connect local community members who are interested in serving on a board of directors to nonprofits who are looking for new and diverse volunteers.
Modeled after a professional sports draft, during this free, fun, and hassle-free event, community members are the Free Agents. Local nonprofits are the Scouts looking for prospective board members.
How does it work?
1) As a Free Agent, you will get to talk to local nonprofits who are the Scouts during a meet-and-greet expo-style networking time.
2) You, the Free Agent, are asked to drop your name with three nonprofit Scouts that you feel are a good fit for your potential service. Consider those whose mission you connect with or have a passion for.
3) Then the Scouts will choose from the Free Agent names who they feel align with their mission, vision, and values.
By the end of the event, the picks are announced!
You could be drafted!
FREE AGENTS are asked to register HERE.
If you are a nonprofit organization (a scout), do not register here. Please contact Anna Clementi directly. aclementi@racinechamber.com
