In/Between is a new 10-day festival of visual and performing arts presented by RAM. Spanning Racine County’s built and natural landscapes along Lake Michigan, this mostly free public festival transforms everyday places into sites of creativity through exhibitions, performances, talks, workshops, wellness activities, and social events.
The inaugural lineup features local, national, and international artists and collaborators, highlighted by three bold, site-responsive works:
1) Amanda Browder’s community-created textile installation, Zig and Zag, will weave the exterior of RAM Downtown with colorful strips of fabric
2) Eric Rieger (aka HOTTEA) unveils a suspended fiber installation that transforms its surroundings at RAM Wustum into a field of color
3) Look-Up Aerial Arts presents the U.S. premiere of Éolia, a gravity-defying sway pole performance at RAM Wustum that brings motion and balance into an unexpected realm.
Most In/Between events are free, with select programs requiring tickets. Programs take place at RAM Downtown, RAM Wustum, and partner sites and public spaces throughout Racine County.
