Meet & Greet with Tom Tiffany
As the presumptive Republican candidate running for Governor of Wisconsin, RAMAC members are invited to a meet and greet with Tom Tiffany.
Tom Tiffany is a lifelong Wisconsinite. He grew up on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin, milking cows and feeding calves before sunrise. He attended public school, worked his way through University of Wisconsin–River Falls, and went on to become a successful small business owner. Together with his wife, Chris, Tom owned and operated Wilderness Cruises in Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods for two decades, where they raised their three daughters. He also served as the dam tender on the Willow Flowage for 29 years, earning the nickname “the dam man.” Tom ran for office because he saw how red tape and burdensome regulations were hurting his own small business. Since then, he has fought for Wisconsin at every level of government. With his experience as a farm kid, small business owner, and proven leader, he is ready to step into the governor’s office on day one and unlock Wisconsin’s full potential.
Tom’s three main campaign points:
- Make Wisconsin Competitive Again: Wisconsin should be a place where businesses grow, jobs are created, and families can thrive. Yet we have the eighth-highest property taxes in America, the second-highest electricity rates in the Midwest, and rank in the bottom ten states to start a business.
- Reward Hard Work and Restore Opportunity: On day one, Tom Tiffany will call a special session to repeal Governor Evers’ 400-year property tax increase. He will eliminate state income taxes on tips and overtime so workers keep more of what they earn and employers can better attract and retain talent. And he will raise educational standards so today’s students are ready to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce.
- Restore Accountability and Common Sense: Wisconsin taxpayers deserve to know their money is being spent wisely. Tom Tiffany will audit every state agency and program, cut waste, reduce red tape, and make government accountable again.
