June 11th session - How to Excite and Inspire Your Workforce About Implementing Automation
Colin Wilson, WMEP’s Automation and Technology Service Line Leader, will showcase best practices and facilitate a discussion on how manufacturers can navigate a two-pronged challenge – implementing new automation technologies without alienating long-term production employees.

Colin has helped countless manufacturers to design, implement and troubleshoot automation systems in their facilities. During those engagements, he’s worked with front-line employees during the design, installation and maintenance of those systems – and he’s also helped train them. This session will give you ideas on how to start the discussion with your team about automation and easy ways to dispel common fears (are you replacing me with a machine?)
