DESCRIPTION:Register Here\n\n\n\nThe Racine/RAMAC Youth Apprenticeship Program\, working with the RUSD Academies of Racine\, is hosting a series of Youth Apprenticeship Hiring Events in the spring of 2025. We are pleased to invite you to this exciting opportunity to engage with talented young people who are ready to bring fresh perspectives\, energy\, and ambition to your organization. These events are designed for both current and potential Youth Apprenticeship employers. At the event\, you will have the opportunity to connect with interested high school sophomores and juniors\, conduct brief interviews\, and potentially offer positions for the summer and fall of 2025.\n\n \n\nThe Youth Apprenticeship Program\, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development\, is a hands-on learning initiative designed to provide high school students with real-world experience\, skill-building\, and career exploration. Youth Apprentices complete at least 450 hours of employment and receive related classroom instruction. Employers who participate in the program will:\n\n \n\n\n Gain Access to Motivated Talent: These students are eager to learn and open to guidance. By providing an entry point for students interested in gaining experience in your industry\, you can attract and retain local talent early.\n Address Workforce Needs: Youth Apprenticeship is an excellent way to invest in the local workforce by training the next generation of workers in your business or industry\, tailored to your standards and expectations.\n Enhance Community Partnerships: Engaging with local schools\, including The RUSD Academies of Racine\, builds a stronger connection between your business and the community.\n\n\n \n\nEach event date will focus on distinct pathways\, so you can meet students who are genuinely interested in specific fields relevant to your business or industry. Join us on any or all of the dates listed below that best align with your organization's goals and employment needs.\n\n\n\nAll events will take place at Roma Lodge from 2:00pm-5:00pm\n\n \n\n\n April 8: Business/Marketing/Hospitality/Finance and IT\n April 30: Transportation/Manufacturing/Engineering/Construction Trades\n May 14: Healthcare/Human Services\n\n\n \n\nPlease register by Tuesday\, March 25th.
