DESCRIPTION:As part of the In/Between Festival\, join Racine-based quilter and textile artist Ann Fahl for an intimate discussion about her textile practice\, creative process\, and approach to making. Fahl will share examples of her work and invite attendees to look closely at the materials\, techniques\, and ideas that shape her quilts. A pop-up mini exhibition of Fahl's work will be on view throughout the festival\, offering an opportunity to experience her work before and after the talk.\n\n\n\nIn/Between is a new 10-day festival of visual and performing arts presented by the Racine Art Museum. Spanning Racine County's built and natural landscapes along Lake Michigan\, our mostly free public festival transforms everyday places into sites of creativity through exhibitions\, performances\, talks\, workshops\, wellness activities\, and social events.
