DESCRIPTION:Racine Arts Council is excited to announce an upcoming event that promises to celebrate the rich talent and creativity of our local arts community. Please join us for the CREATIVITY IN BLOOM: ArtSeed Showcase on Saturday\, March 22\, 2025\, from 3:00   6:00 PM at the UW-Parkside Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for the Arts & Humanities.\n\n\n\nThis event will feature performances by past ArtSeed grantees\, presentations from the 2024 ArtSeed recipients\, and an opportunity to network with fellow art enthusiasts and local creatives. Here's a preview of what you can expect:\n\n	Performances by past ArtSeed recipients:\n\n	  Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin\n\n	  Over Our Head Players\n\n	  Racine Concert Band\n\n	  Sweatshop Movement\n	Presentations from the 2024 ArtSeed recipients:\n\n	  BeLEAF Survivors "PHOTOVOICE"\n\n	  Racine Zoo "Vanishing Kingdom Mural"\n\n	  Racine Video Productions "Life Animated 2"\n\n	  The Poetry Movement "Poems on Buses"\n\n	  The QuaranTeam "Mansfield Mysteries"\n	Gallery Exhibit: "Lakefront Collage: A Survey of Racine and Kenosha Art Spaces" at the Emile Mathis Gallery\n	Silent Auction: Featuring fine art and unique items\n	Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar for mingling and collaboration\n	Presentation of Emily Hill Award and Heart of Arts Awards to local Art Champions\n\nAdditionally\, we're offering FREE workshops from 1:30   3:00 PM for those who are interested in connecting with practicing artists and experts in various creative fields. Workshop leaders include:\n\n  Lisa Marie Barber (visual arts)\n\n  Ayesu Lartey (music and theatre performance/composition)\n\n  Peter O'Keefe (writing and production)\n\n\n\nTicket Information:\n\n  $50 before March 1\, 2025\n\n  $60 after March 1\, 2025\n\nEvent Ticket Purchase Link\n\n\n\nAll proceeds from this event will benefit the RAC's mission to support and advocate for the arts in Racine County and help fund the ArtSeed Grant Program\, which has awarded over $120\,000 to grow the arts locally.
